A seasoned creative, Glenn Sakamoto possesses the rare adeptness of combining left-brain marketing strategy with a right-brain hand – to create powerful, effective design. His many abilities range from strategic thinking, brand development, identity and packaging design, advertising concepts, copywriting, illustration, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An accomplished designer, Glenn has received numerous industry awards, including a Best of Category Trophy from the Art Directors Club of Los Angeles and a 2004 Gold Medal from The West Coast Show. His most notable distinction was being nominated for a Grammy® for Best Packaging Design. Glenn’s work has been displayed at the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum, and has been featured in numerous books on graphic design including the publications Print Magazine and Graphis.
Glenn studied graphic design and packaging at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and graduated with honors under a full tuition scholarship. Previously he attended the Otis College of Art and Design and El Camino College. He has been a guest lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design. In addition, Mr. Sakamoto is a trained success coach and is a skilled brand coach and consultant.

Residing in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, his hobbies outside of work include surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding. His interests also include photography and filmmaking.
